Re: Who uses a watershed drybag for their SLR?

I use a cut up roll mat to line it, and have my camera in the camera armour. I then have it and any lenses in padded bags. I have a few silca gel sachets inside to soak up any moisture and lastly a small hand towel to dry my hands ect before I use it. I haven't thought about making a purpose built m...

I agree. Its just to make people aware that if you don't give your name and address you can be arrested.

Re: Trespass - How do they get your name ?

Now I know that you only have to give your details to the police or someone who holds a warrent ? Bit of a misunderstanding here - in this scenario you DO NOT have to give your details to the police. You only have to give the police your details if they are dealing with you for a criminal offence o...

Over the last 20 odd years I've got though some, and have still got the majority of paddles that I've bought. 1x Set of Ainsworths bought at the Canoe/Kayak exhibition in 1990. Still going strong and will be passed down to my son when he starts paddling. 1xSet of Schlegel stop/go's well used but sti...

The crime is not displaying the disc!! Re: Car Tax - wee story - kayak related

When your vehicle is taxed. There is a marker on the Police National Computer (PNC) to say so. It'll say vehicle excise license held, or if it isn't it'll flash up as not. If they've told you otherwise, then you've been had over by someone who can't do their job. As for not taking a report. If you'v...

I live 5 mins from Chertsey and have found that if you speak to the staff at the Kingfisher before hand and say that you'll be in there after your paddling session then they let you park your car in the car park. Alternatively if you speak ever so nicely to the camping and caravan club (entrance nex...

Quality boat and so much better than its big brother the magic bat. I also loved the AQ Mk1 original rodeo st...

I bought some paddles direct from Ainsworth years ago, and they just weren't right for me. They took them back, no questions asked and refunded me the money.

3 year warranty seems quite good though.

Seth, give Kibble a shout. We went there a couple of years ago for his stag do, and we drove down. He might be able to scour through his moth ridden wallet and see if he still has the receipts.

I'm gonna say Adam Harmer and young Chris Evans both at PYB. I absolutely loved mine, the black pearl she was called. The only reason I sold her was because the missus said there wasn't room in the garage for 3 boats and assorted kit.

God I wish I got rid of her and not the boat.

I'll have to second Shepperton. When it runs its probably the best wave out there. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/18/70171509_41a2efb64d_b.jpg Here its only on about 4/5 gates out of 10. And when it bowls, there's no place like it. Look up Jon Best video of it on youtube somewhere. *found it... http...
