Re: Prijon Pure Sizes XL or Medium

hmmm, all usefull I'm not looking to buy a boat I've never paddled, but if lots of heavyish people had paddle mediums with no problem and it paddled pretty well for me that might be my decision made. After all I'm not far out of the weight range (14st8 / 93kg) and weight ranges are a bit finger in a...

Prijon Pure Sizes XL or Medium

Hi Guys Age old problem, I'm strongly considering a Prijon Pure, however I'm struggling a little to decide on sizes. So I thought i'd put the question to the oracle that is UKRGB and see who's tried what and the feedback they could give me. My dilemma is between the Medium and the XL: I'm about 93kg...

Re: Extending thigh braces..?

Thanks Guys really usefull comments a foam wedge under the front foam cushion did the job way better. This forced my knees from behind up into the braces and made a HUGE difference. No pics, sorry, as I ripped the outfitting out in readiness for the warranty replacement. I've been wondering whether ...

Extending thigh braces..?

Has anyone managed to extend their thigh braces? The boat I'm looking at, I like but if I push hard enough I push past the thigh braces. I've ended up doing this whilst rolling which it not ideal. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully made their thigh braces more aggressive after market? Or shoul...

Re: Dagger Gride 6.5 Vs Pyranha Sub 7 -Zero

The G-Ride is fun but slow! If your tall you might find you struggle to get in the Sub 7, I can't or at least not for more than a few minutes. The G-ride on the other hand is pretty roomy. 120kg for the sub 7 is a bit optimistic. There is no clever science to those weight ranges, its someone guestim...

It was alight, certainly entertaining for the time that it lasts and the locations are pretty and there good cinematography. I'd say a 6.5, worth watching.

River in film?

Last night I watched the film " A lonely place to Die " The film is based and filmed in the highlands, in the film there is a long action sequence in and around a river, several of the rapids in the river looked good for paddling. The only references I can find to the film locations for these are as...

Re: Ingenious Splits Storage

Buy using the split shaft, and boring the pillar from the cockpit end. This is however easier to say than get it prefect;y straight, as when boring the hole, you can compression the foam a little, and the paddle shaft tunnel then ends up being a little curved. Don't know about yours but the ends of...

Re: Ingenious Splits Storage

That is clever, although the following thoughts come to mind.

How do you make the long cylindrical hole for the shafts?

In most boats that bit of foam is quite difficult to get out, particularly with the seat in, you don't want mess it up or you'll be buying a new central foam to replace it.
