Second Edition (2007) Jackson Fun. * Bought ex demo in 2008, one owner since. * Includes Happy Feet (bean bag foot rest) and Sweet Cheeks (seat) * Good condition - has been used infrequently as it's the second boat in my collection. I need to get round to getting an emergency phone sorted. When I made very little effort to find one last time, I struggled find one which was cheap and also quad band.

Anyone suggest one?

Re: Bivi bags

Thanks for the info guys.

I've discounted the Alpkit one as I think it's going to rain in Canada! The Nemo one is an option.

Does anyone use a Terra Nova Jupiter who's over 6ft? Is there enough room for someone who's 6ft 2?

What do others use?

Thanks

Bivi bags

Hi I know this topic has been discussed on here before, however, having read various posts, I am yet to make a decision on what to get for my forthcoming multi day trip. We are planning on running the Magpie River in Canada in August. Having read the various posts, the Bivi/tarp combo seems to offer...

Croft, are you in the aosta valley at the moment? This indicates that the Dora Baltea is good to go?

Where did the gauge info come from?

Cheers

We went East!

Middle guil was 45 on the gauge today, which was described by a local better as a good low medium level.

It was fun.

Who said anything about abandoning the 'real' Canoe England group?

Re: Making the online river level data mean something

Do Canoe England, the Welsh Canoe Association (and the SCA) actually talk to each other? This is clearly a top notch idea from the WCA, so why don't all the associations work together so we can have one website for the uk, or at least England and Wales? In fact maybe I'll drop them an email and sugg...

Re: NEW NATIONAL RIVER LEVEL INFO FROM THE EA

This is great news, however what would make it perfect is that they actually release a raw data feed, then the possibilities get exciting, hiding the data away behind a thermometer graphic is just annoying. That's certainly a real possibility as making raw data available to the public for so called...

Go for a diesel estate with roof rails. Generally better fuel economy and a nice drive than the people carriers, plus not so much effort to put the boats on the roof! Roof rails also seem to be more generous with the official weight allowances. I have a diesel mondeo estate and there's plenty of roo...

Perhaps reference to that could be added to your document? I really don't think most people know. That said, I think charging for us...

Re: Who uses a watershed drybag for their SLR?

Yep. Top notch product. I haven't damaged mine (yet). I have the liner and wrap it in a t towel. The potential for breakage is there but my camera is too big to get a peli case in my play boat so was the best option for me.
