Too early to think about Christmas presses?

While researching a nice decanter I recently bought I found one with a kayaker engraved on it. It is a vintage caithness morven decanter. I don't think the hotel is trading any more. At least it had gone last year when we went.

Glad you liked it Pete. I have no involvement but loved the concept.

The leather thongs with sea glass is amazing - so tactile - love it.

Just wish I could make it.

Re: sea kayaking / beachcombing /sea glass

Love the driftwood stuff. I have a stash sitting by the fire which I intend to, eventually, get Dave to make into something for me. I've started making mobile shell things to hang from the tree in the garden from shells, driftwood and rope I've found on the beach. Here was the Mull one: http://img59...

It's easy to forget how clean and clear the water is up there over the sandy bottoms - the seal photo is a great reminder. Looks like the med, but without the tiresome temperature.... Jim - maybe you should have gone to specsavers! lol Seal/Otter? not much difference! It was a fantastic weekend - o...

Thinking of you - but sounds like she was a great person and you have some wonderful memories. Parents make kids (no pun intended). You were lucky - she introduced you to paddling - fundraising for Cancer is a great tribute to her.
