Re: Angmagssalik
Just to clarify, this is simply the original instructions that came with the kit and which explain how to construct the kayak. I believe a file is available elsewhere on the forum that has accurate information on panel dimensions etc. Also, if interested, please provide an e-mail address as it is a ...

Angmagssalik
I have just received a request for the plans to build a Kayel Angmagssalik (by Ken Littledyke) mentioned on this forum in 2007. I was very pleased to pass them on and would be happy to do so for anyone else who may be interested in this legendary sea kayak. Just let me know an address and I'll send ...

Re: Angmagssalik stabilisers
Actually I suppose you will end up with a sort of variable geometry boat. Be sure to post some pictures when the work has been done! It took a little while but job done eventually. See http://www.globaledit.co.uk/classic/#kayak for some pics of Angmagssalik with stabilisers. No rolling about, now.

Angmagssalik plans
Elsewhere in this forum, a contributor was asking whether plans for building an Angmagssalik were still available. Another contributor suggested contacting Ottersports, who used to supply kits. It looks as though Ottersports has gone out of business, if repeated calls to an answerphone and one-way e...

And also so t...

Angmagssalik repair
I live on a Dutch barge and am moving to France. The intention is to use the kayak for a spot of relaxed tootling around on the French canals, with a bit of fishing here and there. So I'd quite like it if I didn't have to think about eskimo rolls when reeling in a monster carp.

Angmagssalik repair
I have an old Angmagssalik marine-ply sea kayak (see pic) that is in need of repair and modification. Does this forum know of anyone (in the South West ideally) who might be keen on doing such a job. The modification is the addition of a pair of stabilisers that are in keeping with the lines of the ...
