Re: Outdoor Activities Research - Participants Needed

Re: Help on first boat!

I bought a Dagger G-Ride as my first boat and absolutely loved it. It was the 6.5 which was a bit big for me, so I couldn't flat-water play with it, although it was nice and forgiving to learn how flat-spin etc.... I used it as a river runnerfor about a year (g3/4) and was a good learning bridge for...

Thanks, however I emailed that address a couple of weeks ago, was told they couldn't help but gave me the address of someone who might be able to - then never got a response from them.

Thanks anyway

Navigation

Hi,

Could anybody tell me which law covers the small volume of rivers that have a statutory right of navigation in England? Also, does anybody have any information regarding the extent/location of this coverage?

Cheers

Re: Buffalo / Montane smock any good

Montane smocks are fantastic, the hood really makes a difference and is very good at enclosing your head/most of face if necessary. they aren't waterproof by any means but they are showerproof and will keep you warm when wet anyway. I think they are designed to be worn next to the skin, or with a ba...

Re: Down jackets....help

Lots of friends have bought alpkit down jackets and really like them, probably the best value for money on the market. However as you have already noticed they are not currently in stock, they seem to sell extremely quickly when they get a batch in so I would join the pre-order/mailing list if you d...
