in my basement bins I have: 2 jetboils msr whisperlite Kelly kettle alcohol can stove Neufeld mk2 stove the first one I grab is either the Kelly kettle of the mk2 both are light weight and wood/leaf litter burning..... for info on the mk2 you need to go to: http://www.westcoastpaddler.com/community/...

i added 9" of foam into my cockpit to create my foamed out bulkhead....But i did not glue or velcro anything in....It is all nice and tight because the outermost layer of minicel foam is just the tightest fit in against the hull and deck...I put in a piece of 1" wide flat webbing that runs behind th...

helps a little Peter? just a little ;) i remember taking a rolling course in an older Capella in 98....and then i tried a Capella again after a few years and i knew that it was quite different paddling....guess that would be those changes....i dare say i liked the original mold better!!! i was wonde...

PH capella history ?^

Looking for some info on the capella....a square hatched version just popped up for sale in the states nearby and i was wondering how old it is....the owner wants almost 2008 retail on it...

i surfed a GT for about 2 years..really enjoyed it....great volume...great hull.....nice and comfy with good speed....i would take it out into 10' seas without any worry.....then i got my MEGA and got scared...never found it very comfortable.....fast...but not great for my locales waves and the rock...

andy: I have been having the same thoughts since i first saw pix of the boat back in the fall.... a friend works at Confluence and i droppe dhim a note questioning this...he told me that it would fit my need/want perfectly: a little longer waterline for speed/ride the swell more plastic comfy planin...

There is also the Dagger Approach http://www.dagger.com/approach-100 and teh two sizes of Dagger Alchemy http://paddlesportsportal.com/daggernews/new-for-2009/alchemy-140l/ yes the rockhopper is a bit heavy...but i feel that it makes up for that in the paddling of it....i have taken it on a 4-5 mile...

I did a course about four years ago where one of the instructors had a Riot Rebel - Canadian, I think, short (12 foot or thereabouts), multichined, sea boat - which he absolutely swore by. Looking on the Riot.com site they still seem to be doing the same sort of boat, but UK dealers are like hens' ...
