M Fluid Spice for sale

Hi I am selling my orange medium Fluid Spice. Used twice since new, no major dents or cracks or anything. Scuffs on the bottom that you'd expect from paddling a few times. Having a hard time uploading photos but if you are interested PM your email and I will send them to you. It's a great boat but I...

Re: Paisley Freight & TNT

Interesting. I guess it depends on the driver/depot. I sold my creek boat about a week ago. Buyer arranged a collection with Paisley Freight and as you said TNT arrived. But they were fine with it. Boat was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap and commercial cling film. The driver had no problems, just th...

Totally agree with you on that. Slow smooth cartwheels in a long slicey boat look very cool.

I want one now.

...- 50-60% of normal snowfall in northern Tirol - 250% of normal snowfall in the south, with some parts (Ost Tirol and Kärnten) with 400-500% normal snowfall!! Clarky, is St Anton in South Tirol with 500% normal snowfall? I'm off there in 2 weeks on my honeymoon and that would be a good start!! Ian

FS: Fluid Solo M, Werner Paddle & Deck

Hi I have for sale a Fluid Solo M. It's 3 years old and is in good condition. Yellow. I holed it shortly after I got it however it was right on the stern, a place of very little repeat impact. It was repaired and is now completely water tight. Have used it in France and Scotland a lot since then and...

Re: Outdoor First aid incident, seriously gory video!

Very gory vid but the most incredible thing about it is his reaction to what has happened. He is clearly the one in charge and he knows exactly what has happened and he's the one telling his mate what he needs to do. Very impressive to keep your head in that situation. From what I understand it's st...

Re: River Allan

The tree before entering Dunblane mentioned by Jim about has been trimmed by Roland Bone during the summer. There is now a clear path down the river left however it is still a hazard and would be a serious problem to a swimmer or large group. I recommend scouting prior to getting on the river. Furth...

These guys are based pretty much in the same place as Brookbank Perth.

I've not been myself but a friend recently bought a kayak from them and said service was good.

I've seen a few people doing it. Last time I remember was on the Etive a few years back. The dude in question wore prescription swimming goggles which he said he loved. Granted they didn't do anything to the cool factor but he could see clearly no matter which way up he was. I think he said they wer...

The Okement certainly cranks up a bit in its lower sections, doesn't it? Is that the river at the start? That looks like great fun. Think that defines continuous!! The fall at 1.46, is that Kenya? Looks familiar. If so we walked away due to two reasons. 1. It was HUGE! 2. There was a sign saying "b...

Scotland. Specifically West Coast.

Quality rivers. Locals are nice. No abusive fisherman. No "trespassing" laws. Right to roam.

It's such a fab place.

For sake of ease, I call canoeing kayaking however I accept that they are different and that there are variations of each. In my opinion, endurance events are more demanding than sprint events. I am not saying that competitors don't work as hard to achieve their goal, and I certainly am trying to be...

That kayaking isn't as physically demanding as the Tour de France? Or perhaps, that it is possible to win by not using performance enhancing drugs however only if no one else is doing so? Personally, I think we all have more to learn from him than he does from us. If you make a mistake, own up to it...

We all got to chill out, slow down and enjoy the good things whilst we still can. Happy paddling y'all. Merry...

Why not just have the information on your helmet in the first place instead of a puzzle? Seems as if they are trying to make it difficult for the people trying to help you, to find important information about you. The quicker they find the info, the quicker they can save your life. Don't put an obst...
