Re: Broken Punctured Werner Shogun and Poor Support!

It's a shame that your retailer just passed the buck on to the importer. Your contract was with the shop where you bought it, not with the importer. Go back to them for satisfaction if you get none from anyone else. Is there a version of the small claims court in the UK?

Having heard what Ben went through afterward in the hospital in Kathmandu, I'd rather take option A, where I don't know what happened, or if it's in a first world hospital or not.

Advice on working holiday destinations

Hi folks, So the travel itch is needing a scratch soon, and I'm entertaining the notion of heading west for the summer, the states/Canada. It'll be a working holiday on a student visa, as I need to return with a decent bit of funds to pay for college next year. I'm currently thinking of Vancouver, o...

Speaking as someone that has very little knowledge of the Nile, is it still going to be worth the trip after all the changes? I was thinking about heading out for a couple of months or more in January. Depends what you want from the river. If it's play waves, then you're good to go, but the best ra...

I've brought biners on before, and a helmet. As is said, it's getting through security that's the problem, not Ryanair.

Youch! I don't know how to react to that, my instant reaction is Man alive, that's pretty fast, where are the BAs and helmets? But the river seems flat enough, and if it's patronised by sensible folk, then it sounds cool.

Take your injuries then, whatever they'll be. If I'm attacked by a wild animal, I defend myself in a manner most likely to get it to leave me alone. Same as with a person.

Re: A swan attacked me!

Don't fear attacking a swan to defend yourself, either.
Sure, try not to encroach up on it when nesting, but if it does go for you at a speed that is faster than your own at withdrawing from the scene, give it a whack. It's a bloody wild animal, not a child.

Bingo, a lot of boating celebs would be better off with a "like" page, for public figures. To keep their own page for actual friends and family.

Where can I buy Anna Levesque's Whitewater Kayaking?

Hey folks,
So I got on to the library in my uni with a list of kayaking videos to buy for our club, and this one is for some reason unavailable to the library from watergirlsatplay.com

Does anyone know of another website or shop where it's available?
Cheers,
JK

I bought white because it makes for a good canvas for painting on my own colour scheme. I als ohave gotten caught in exactly the same way as that lad in the clip, only it was the band part of my deck that snagged. It was an EW deck with a really strong and thick bungee cord on it, that didn't slip o...

God, if you're interested in giving this a go yourself and have been given the kit for free, go for it, and ignore all the above! It's really satisfying sorting it out yourself, and you've said it yourself that it's the freedom of motion you want, so super duper dryness isn't as high a priority. Wea...

I've nothing but good things to say about IR. I bought a Special K from them to fit my Mac 1. It fit like a dream, and then a week later I had a go in a Karnali. Loved it, wrote to them, saying I'm going buying a Karnali, and that the Special K, which fits the Mac 1 very well, doesn't fit the Karnal...
