When parking at the take-out, beware that the car park floods on tides exceeding approx 5 metres.

Kid's Kayak Mould - wanted

Does anyone have a mould for a kid's kayak I can beg/borrow/buy/steal?

We're looking for a really small boat, suitable for a 22kg 7-year-old. Most of the plastic kid's boats are for 35kg+. And anyway they're all too expensive.

I use one of these. Though their claim that it may also help secure the hatches, is a bit optimistic. www - dot - lassosecuritycables - dot - com (Obviously, replace "dot"s with dots... I'm a new user and so not allowed to post URLs.) For smaller boats, you just wrap one of the cables round the rack...
