FS: Palm Torrent SIS Drysuit (Small)
Not been paddling for a few years now so this is just gathering dust. Only used a few times when I was kayaking. Has been stored indoors in a wardrobe, fabric looks good. The neck seal needs replacement. The wrist seals look OK but are a number of years old now. Zips all open and close smoothly. htt...

Re: New website dedicated to soloing
I see no reason why soloing a river is any less dangerous than soloing while rock climbing. Most of us are adult enough to live accepting the extra risks that may arise. An interesting website, I shall keep an eye on it. Huh, a fall from a height is almost always going to cause damage. Taking a swi...

Sounds like an interesting contract. What job lets you work from anywhere in the world? I'm assuming that it isn't web based as you couldn't guarantee a decent connection in some of those places?

Re: Kayaking Coaches Research
Reflective practice is what everyone does naturally to some degree, but educational/coach training forces you to write down waffle to prove you are doing it. It feels like a waste of time, and imo probably is most of the time. Writing down that is, not thinking about what you have done and how you c...

Re: What to have in First Aid Kit
Can I just point out as a first aider in the UK you cannot legally adminsiter any drug. So pills potions and lotions are a no no in a first aid kit. This does not mean ou can't carr them seperatle in a personal medicine chest. I don't carry a first aid kit I carry a bag with bandages, gloves, antis...

Mike organised us an amazing gite for a great price when we went out!
We hardly got any rain whilst we were out but there were plenty of runs that were interesting at low water:

If it relies on your login then that cuts out a lot of spam, then you can add an image verifier.
Would be good to add a Review Date that sends you an email after say 3 weeks and asks you to confirm if it is still an issue. Then all the old comments would slowly disappear unless flagged as permanent.

I been playing round and input a few readings from the website to see what can be done with the data. Currently got the following going for a gauging station: http://bullfuzz.net/images/riverlevels.PNG You can select the graph and it will input the time, date and river level when you get on. Then yo...
