Re: RIVER LLUGWY (Pont Cyfyng to Forestry Falls)
The route back / get in to the river after Pont Cyfyng seems to be closed; lots of barbed wire and no canoeing signs on the gate that we used to use to get on just below. Not sure what you're supposed to do, we just carried on walking until the next gate by the river.

Re: Infinity Wezzit
Ah, got confused by your mentioning of the 60 footer and got the streams mixed up. There's a lovely walk from there up to a hidden village that we did a few years ago, using the summer and winter paths. Word to the wise, the winter path is so called because it is usable all year round and doesn't cr...

Re: Nant Clydach
There is currently a nasty strainer and oil barrel in the bit described as "Midway through the gorge" in the photos. A portage could be awkward as there's nowhere easy to get out above. Easily inspected by walking down from the road bridge. We saw this and decided to go elsewhere so don't know of an...

The tree at the bottom is still there, there is also a collection of trees just below the put in, can be snuck left, or portaged right.

Re: RIVER CONWY (Ysbyty Ifan to Rhydlanfair Bridge)
Oh yeah, as there's no mention of it on this guide, the take out for this section is downstream of the bridge mentioned above, river right there is a set of steps with a big sign from the WCA, which leads up to a lay-by. I think it's the next lay-by after the one with the cafe in if you're driving d...

Re: RIVER CONWY (Ysbyty Ifan to Rhydlanfair Bridge)
There is currently a tree in the bottom of Bryn Bras falls, in the final chute. At the level we did it (3 on the A5 gauge) you could avoid it by going down a twisty rocky line left of the main chute. Worth inspecting especially if you've got a weak group.Conrad
