GUIDE TO THE RIVER TEIFI (Llechryd to the sea) NAME OF RIVER: Teifi. WHERE IS IT?: OS sheets 145. The location is in mid Wales. Time to get the atlas out! PUT-INS/ TAKE-OUTS: Cenarth to Llechryd. At Llechryd bridge, just off the main Cardigan Road. APPROX LENGTH: 5 miles. TIME NEEDED: Half a day. ACCESS SITUATION: Gareth Bryant, Access officer - 'www.llandysul-paddlers.org.uk for full access info on the Teifi'. WATER LEVEL INDICATORS: It can be paddled at all levels, can be a bit bump and scrape at the rapids above Cardigan if the tide is out. Sand banks near the sea can be a nuisance if the tide's out. GRADING: 1 MAJOR HAZARDS/ FALLS: None. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Great flat water touring...see for yourself! OTHER NOTES: There is pleasant touring paddling carrying on down to the sea.
