RIVER USK (Talybont to Llangynidr) - an easy trip with a harder rapid at the end.
RIVER WYE (Rhayader to Llanwrthwl) - good alternative if section above is too high.
RIVER WYE (Newbridge to Builth Wells) - an easy touring paddle.
RIVER WYE (Builth Wells to Boughrood) - a classic intro to whitewater, including 'Hell Hole'! (photos)

AFON GRWYNE FAWR (Grwyne Fawr Reservoir to the Usk) - exciting Usk tributary.

AFON NYFER - a grade 3 spate tree ditch near Newport, with a harder top section.
AFON RHONDDA FACH - an easier warmup before the Rhondda Fawr.

AFON SAWDDE (Llwynfron to Three Horseshoes Pub) - a good addition to the lower Sawdde gorge. (photos)

AFON TEIFI (Llandysul to Cenarth Falls) - a pleasant flatwater trip with a (very) few harder rapids or portages.
AFON TWRCH - another boat-carry...but worth it if it's been raining!
AFON TYWI (Above Llyn Brianne) - remote exploratory paddle!
AFON TYWI (Llyn Brianne to Junction Pool) - classic Welsh grade 4 pool drop. (photos)
RIVER WYE (Llangurig to Rhayader) - a classic section of grade 3-4 paddling. (photos)

AFON DILIW (Ystwyth tributary) - walk-in with hard gorge.
