The first is the bridge by Richmond Station. Seen at low water condition, the trip photos were take with a foot (30cm) more water going down the river.
The second is above the falls. This is how I determine if the Grinton to Richmond Stretch is a viable option. This concrete strip (just downstream of Richmond Bridge) needs to be WELL covered if a scrape is to be avoided. At the level shown, a trip is possible, but one or two "groundings" should be expected.
