Individual Competition
OPEN SHORT FINAL 1. Rusty Sage (USA)
OPEN LONG FINAL 1. Leonard Kelleher (Ireland)
MASTERS SHORT FINAL. 1. Sean Morley (USA)
WOMEN SHORT FINAL 1. Valerie Bertrand (Canada)
WOMEN LONG FINAL 1. Tracy Sherrington (Scotland)

Great Results, nice to see Rusty and Valerie 2 river heads mix it up on the surf in the small boats. Good for Tracy, she would of been in full flow at the party with that result. Leny's result is fanstastic after years on west coast Ireland surfin' and clearly Sean's move to Cali has not damped his surfin'

Quite interesting results and certainly not what I would have predicted.

There has been a little bit of controversy it seems with some of the semi finals and even finals being more of a question survival and balls than surfing prowess and a few comments that Simon Hammond looked like he won the masters by a chunk only to get second.

Overall though it sounds like it has been a truly amazing contest and it is good to get a bit of a mix up at the top.

The one result that really surprised me was seeing Chris Hobson only pick up a fourth in the Junior HP. Before the contest I had him down favourite for it with only David Speller offing him any real challenge, turns out I was wrong!
