I'm busy start of this week, then off for an early start to Mike Mayberry's West Wales Meet, so you're fortunate in that I won't be stinking up the parish this week, and you've also chosen the location well... from Lulworth you've got Worbarrow just East and Durdle Door just west; from Swanage start point Old Harry is just east, and from Kimmeridge you are up to your ocksters in all round gravy (Chapman's just to the east). Off the top of my head this time of year the Lulworth put-in only has vehicle access before 1000hrs or after 1800hrs; hucking in is possible, but not everyone's cup of splosh. Great place for the family to hang around, and the pub/restaurants are all good, as is the dude selling painted scallop shells down by the slipway. Do be aware if no locals tip up that friendly landings between Durlston Head and St Aldhelm's Head are not really on the menu. Sorry, I'm sure you have/will check it for yourself, but just to be sure...

Dancing Ledge is a fair land trog fror a boat-free day if toting young 'uns, but worth the effort... Do have a pint at Worth Matravers' 'Square and Compass'... If there's something big coming in from the south/southwest and you don't fancy it there's plenty to check out from Wareham down river into the Harbour or chuck the boat in by the harbour entrance chain ferry just inside te entrance and check out west harbour/ the islands/blah, blah, blah...

MarkR and others generally get out from Swanage on a Tues eve (maybe a PM would be worthwhile, though I'm sure he'll be in touch himself...).

Have a great time; you'll be hard pushed not to, and if geology floats you're boat you'll find it hard to leave...

I might be around for a paddle on Sunday morning, although currently I'm watching the rain forecasts and living in hope that the Devon rivers will be working, as they were the weekend before last...
