Been looking at doing this in the next few weeks.

I think it runs on a Tuesday but I couldn't tell you much more than that about releases. CanoeControl are the people to contact apparently.

Most of the local rafting companies have someone who speaks English & will know the level after 5pm on the previous evening if you give them a ring.

There have been no releases from the dam for the last week or so. We were out there last week hoping to give this a go, but we are now back in the UK. The local guide we were in contact with was only getting confirmation of each day's release on the previous evening.

This web site has some irregular info about releases: http://www.rafting-verdon.com/gb/news.php?id=1

Alternatively, ring +33 492 836 907. You get a safety talk (in French), then you can dial 1 and get today's level.
