Ellesmere Island circumnavigation

Postby Dave Manby » Thu May 24, 2012 8:05 am

I have been asked by Eric Boomer who paddled with Jon Turk on their epic trip around the island if I could put together a few lecture dates for him in the UK. http://www.jonturk.net/content/Ellesmere

Not being a member of the dark side (sea kayaking community) I have no idea where to go with this one. Is there a big sea kayaking gathering? When? Where? How big? How many shows could his show sustain?

(He also is a white water extreme paddler so has other shows he could do.)

Liverpool Canoe Club are worth contacting. I think they host some good presentations with good attendances.
