I don't think have ever watched more than 10 minutes of a kayak vimeo before without being bored and giving up,
but that was absolutely gripping! (And +1 6.35 !!!)

That's how you do it, making a home vid. Excellent soundtrack too.

Ye gads! It's got to be a compilation of carnage over a season, No way could they fit that many near death experiences into a single day/trip/river and then not have to hand over the directors cut to the inquest...

It was almost surreal watching boaters with decent kit, on a well made vid... boating so badly.

This is teh definition of 'all the gear and no idea'

This river and its tribs appears quite alot on various vidoes. The Europeans who run it treat as a full on adventure. looks like the Russians view it as a good introduction to white water for newbies. The trib at the ends appears in kayak session short film competition. Such a different approach. Im pretty sure its all the same multi day trip.

More crazy Russians. http://youtu.be/801v637Zlb0 At least, I think they are Russian.

Look where the throw-line is clipped to the guy who live baits the green Riot Thunder at about 4 minutes in...

first vid is a compilation as a season's bad moments of all guys in the club, some of whom were first year paddlers. and some are in fact british/eu from t marnics' last year kitoy/biluty. if you search for some other vids from burseq on vimeo, you might change your views re skills of some of these guys..
second video is latvian and proper stupid :)

The kitoy/biluti footage is not from the trip with British/EU paddlers but from a second run done by Tomass Marnic and the Russians a week or so later I believe. I was the British paddler and although we had some carnage ourselves, this isn't it. Fantastic wilderness kayaking trip, definately recommended. Tomass runs commercial trips there each year.

It is almost as though they were deliberately playing up to the camera and taking the worse lines possible. They seemed to steer towards the big holes or put their boats side on and fall into a crease. It was like a competition to get the worse spanking.
