The Tawe between the country Park and Abercraf has at least 6 riverwide trees down.
1 or 2 will be sneakable at lower levels, 2 are definite portages at Tue moment and 2 are BIG and wont be going anywhere for a long time.

Re: Tawe TREES.
I have been thinking of taking a chain saw down to weaken them. They be big buggers :0(
Maybe we can ask the fishermen to help us with the removal as they "own the river". lol

To be honest TB stretch effected is my least favourite part of the Tawe but best for beginners in lower water.
I prefer the gorge.
Thanks for being concerned though.
Will the fisherfolk be looking at making the river more hook and line friendly or leaving it to nature?

If you mean from Craig y Nos then you need to paddle it with more water, it's a cracking stretch (apart from the weir).
