Paddling Partners near Cheltenham or in Devon this bank hol

Hi

I moved to Cheltenham in Septemeber and due to a new busy job have yet to find any one to paddle with. I used to paddle alot of class 4 when I was paddling regularly. I was wondering if anyone was down in Devon this bank holiday weekend for a paddle or if they would be up for some paddling in the future otherwise.

What sort of paddling?

I'm based in Swindon but prefer coastal rather than white water but my normally paddling partner has a nasty tendency of letting me down all the time...

Try Cheltenham Canoe Club, they are pretty good at running grade 3/4 trips.

If anything is running in Devon tomorrow or Monday I would be up for it. Or the Tryweryn tomorrow?

@6950rpm I'm based in Swindon too (but paddle with people from Cheltenham/Gloucester). Feel free to give me shout if you are doing white water/surf.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier Cheltenham Canoe Club were down at Woolocombe all this weekend for a bit of surf and a coastal paddle. I won't be there this week (working) but pop down to the Lido on Thursday night and you'll find Cheltenham Canoe Club. We'll be on the water from 7:30pm until 9pm and then onto a pub. There's no commitment to join come along for a few weeks and see what you think of us. There's a trip somewhere every weekend and three oppertunities a week to paddle during the week. Hopefully see you soon.
