Hi,
I’m looking to do some paddling in June in the Alps, so if you’re headed out and have space (even if it’s just for kit) then let me know.
Also I am traveling s.america and pretty keen to do some boating in Chile, anyone know of anyone heading out around October/November? Also any beta on rivers and cheap boat rental?
Cheers james

Re: Alps and chile
Hey James
We seem to have very similar plans. I'm basically quitting my job and doing South America this year, from around August through to the following August (probably), or something close to that anyway. Not just paddling, but would certainly aim to have a big chunk of time in Chile when their season starts. Got some friends who've worked out there 2 winters a year or so back, so they're giving me all the info they can but having a guy to pair up with for boating would be ideal.
I'm actually planning a big alps/norway trip prior to that, but having trouble getting people who have both the time and the cash to do a longer trip. My dates would be from around the 15th June to 25th July, (class 4-5, hoping to get a couple of runs in most days). At the moment looking for people for either just bits of this or the whole thing. Let me know your thoughts.
Rob.
