I am livingston based and looking for paddle buddies to paddle lowgrade white stuff Tweed Etc, lochs and canals. I can paddle weekends mid-week or evenings. I am a beginer so need an experienced paddler to paddle with. I have own transport so can meet at waterside or car share.

Have a look here. This is the club I am am member of and good for beginners. From Livingstone shouldnt take you more than 35mins to get to the pool and there are trips of all levels. I'd say it would be best to come to a few pool sessions with us first to allow the coaches to make sure you are comfortable in the water, but after thet you'll be on the home straight. I've been paddling with these guys for a few months now and they are a great bunch. Also search for them on Facebook as that is where most of the members talk.
