Water levels near Chamonix / Geneva?
Does anyone know if any rivers are going near Chamonix / Geneva? Aosta / Val Sesia or Jura mountains? Suggested runs in the Jura? Cheers!

Its been raining (below 1200m, snowing higher) here for last two weeks but the Dranse de Morzine is still very low.

Low up there and the wet stuff is falling as snow above 900m. We've been paddling for the past few days in the alps maratine near Nice and there are some great rivers near here with good levels at the momment. Unfortunately I'm in the airport heading home but I think the rest of my group will be going to look at the vesuabie (sp? - its a tributary of the Var, about 30km north of Nice.)

Best rivers in the Jura are Valserine, Semine, Saine, Bienne. Its been pretty wet over there so maybe there will be a bit of water there now. Drove back up Aosta valley last night (on way back from Corsica) and Dora was looking very low indeed.

Just got back from Cham Snowboarding and only seen the river that runs through the town, but to give you a snow update there is definatly more than last year and more was falling as I was there, but temps down in the vally was quite warm from 10-14 degrees. There was definatly snowmelt going off in the afternoons but not enough yet.

Friends paddled the Borne (tributary to the Arve near Bonneville) yesterday with a nice medium level.
Plus the Jura rivers Bienne, Semine, Saine are running just now.
