Show me your shudder rudders!

Simple enough - I want to see pics of shudder rudders because they're fun! Any takers? Here's the first one, from Poke's Pyranha write-up of last weekend.

I saw that on your blog about an hour before I saw this thread and was debating whether to link it, hands down one of the best shudder rudders I've seen caught on film.

not sure it's intentional but this has to be a contender for the most ballsy shudder rudder from Thilak, a Sri Lankan raft guide.

Henry - never heard of anyone having any problems. It's a static move, so you aren't doing much once you're in position. I'd take a long, sustained shudder rudder over a bony river run or solo-loading a roofrack with heavy creekers any day.

Woods - much improved by his arm hiding his face...

And I'd also like to give a special shout-out to Diamond Dave's shudder rudder/full face combo. Keepin' it real like it's 1993!

Sorry, but your front arm needs to be as straight as possible for a shudder rudder. James Flemming=shudder rudder fail.

Good form from Pete, but some SR's need work, and whilst its static the blade is active, if the blade is not in the flow, its a fail.

Mark, Daz - would you mind showing me some authorisation? I'm going to need some documentary evidence here that you're genuine representatives of the Charc Police Shudder Squad.* Otherwise I'm going to have to call your commanding officer for confirmation...

* - Solo expeditions off Everest don't count unless someone snapped a shot of your shudder style. Sorry.

The Charc Police.

Are exceptions granted in instances where the front arm is flexed for vanity purposes, such as getting your face in-shot so you can conclusively prove it was you throwing the old school moves?

Premier spot indeed. I have a memory of the WCA membership card circa 1997 (?) having a picture of two people doing a shudder rudder on the Bitches wave at the same time. Anyone still have one? (mine got recycled into a fake ID that had little effect on my chances of being served)
