First trip to the Bitches

I'm considering a first trip to the bitches this summer. Naturally (sensibly) I'm a bit nervous/ cautious. Any advice about when to go and where I might find a guide to show the route?

Book a guide. We paid something like 20 quid each between 6 of us and this made the trip more relaxed. Google the bitches and there are a couple of good sites with tips.
