Great Opportunity for 4 Star Trainees.

We're looking for competent paddlers for our upcoming 4 star white water kayak assessment.

You need to be happy on Grade 2 with a reliable roll and keen for a good day out. You'll spend the day being guided by candidates undergoing their 4 star assessment. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering completing their 4 Star or those preparing for assessment. 

Please note this day is not suitable for those who need coaching on grade 2, as this is only a guided day the candidates will not be coaching you.

We require people for Sunday 29 Jan, (if you are coming up for the weekend and fancy two days out the course director is happy for you to come along on the 28 Jan for a paddle).

You'll need to bring your normal paddling kit with, you will be able to borrow any technical kit you do not have from our equipment stores (including boat). 

Please arrive at Plas y Brenin between 8.30am and 8.45am and report to reception. We will provide you with a free packed lunch that you can collect from the dining room between 8.30 and 9.00am. Please bring your own flask that can be filled here if you wish. You will then be asked to wait for the course director who will brief you on what will happen during the day.
