Nice idea that I've not seen before and will close down one avenue of sale by the toerag to genuine paddlers. First thought was it also prevents you monitoring ebay, but given that anybody looking for a second hand boat will probably look at ebay in the first instance, if they are offered the stolen boat you should get a result. Good Luck

Cheers buddy - that's pretty much my thinking. In my experience the paddling community are a good bunch and as its a specialised piece of kit only someone in the know would attempt to buy it. To use it you would have to know hat you were doing and have a minimumn of a spay deck, decent paddle etc. Still, no news yet but I'm still hopeful - trying to track down a large white van that was seen in the area on Wednesday last week - again any news greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'd be keeping an eye on forums and EBAY for France and Ireland, if were you.

Easter bump is good - loads of people paddling - keeping an eye out.

Although I had hoped you'd been posting you'd found it.
