Sea Kayak for fishing

Sea Kayak for fishing

Postby Oldcynic » Mon Jan 09, 2012 6:23 pm

OK guys. I live in S Devon, and want to explore the coast and superb estuaries we have around here. But I also need something suitable for fishing from. Dont worry, I know the coast realy well and hold the RYA day skipper, advanced Power Boat a Radio licence, qualified as a diving instructor back in the 80s. So, famous last words, I know what I am doing! I just fancy something a little different. I am in my 50s, so it is just a pootle, Dart, Avon, Yealm Estuaries and in-tight around the coast, off the beaches type of thing.

Any suggestions as to what Kayak would suit me best. I am 6 foot tall, with a post Xmas weight of 15 stone!

Thanks

Cape Ann is comfortable and stable touring kayaks for medium weight to tall paddlers and is well suited for all types of fishing activities.
