Marathon website

Does anyone else get frustrated at how long it takes for race results to appear on the marathon website? . It's often a week, sometimes two weeks, before the results go up. I'm not saying it's the webmaster's fault: it could be rankings officers sitting on results, or race organisers' tardiness, but, whatever, it's in marked contrast to the WWR site where results are put up promptly.

|I guess that's why in the midlands region draft results often get put up on club web pages or are handed out at the end of the race...

It'd be much better if the website could put up unratified results, labelled as such, and then re-post them when they're ratified.

Well the season is starting in earnest now, with Bedford last weekend and Basingstoke and RLS on 15th. Have you analysed the postings by Region? It may point out where the weakest link is.

damned nuisance that Badingstoke and Leamington are always on the same day. Love Basingstoke - wouldn't miss it, but Leamington is only 20 miles up the road, and it's got that step weir and Warwick Castle and a psycho swan and everything. Not fair.

So, once you have sorted out the race results issues on the Marathon website will restructuring the Regional nature of Hasler racing be your next task?
Living on the regional boundary can be a pain at times, especially when Canoe England can't cope with the cross border nature of our club.
I look forward to seeing you on 15th in the hunt for Southern Region Hasler points. I hope that a psycho goose and home made cake will compensate for our lack of weir. (We have a castle you can visit, just not on the race route and it's not as well maintained, extensive or expensive as Warwick http://www.castleuk.net/castle_lists_south/186/odihamcastle.html)
