Sea kayaking - East Anglia
I'm a keen seakayaker usually living in Canada (Vancouver Island) Happenstance has me living near Sudbury for a few weeks. But I'm desperately missing my kayak and paddling! Is there a kayaking club - kayaks to rent anywhere in the vicinity?

I'm 5 minutes drive from Sudbury and paddle with Sudbury Canoe Club. We paddle from the Quay Theatre on a Friday night. On the water for 19:00 ish, out until 21:00/21:30 ish and have a couple of drinks in the bar of the Quay Theatre afterwards. Plenty of white water/general purpose kayaks or open canoes you can borrow. I think it's £5 to borrow all you need for an evening. I'm afraid I can't help you with a sea kayak though.

You might want to check out South East Sea Kayakers http://www.sesk.co.uk/who often have trips.
But they're not a club, just a meeting place for individual paddlers, and they have no boats of their own. The only club in East Anglia I know with sea kayaks they might be willing to lend is Rutland canoe club http://www.rutlandcanoeclub.org.uk/. They're a fair way from Sudbury and may be too far for you.
Good luck
