C1 Conversion - recommendations

Postby Owen-w » Tue Mar 23, 2010 9:44 pm

Hey looking for some recommendations for a boat to convert for my first c1. Had ago in a mates conversion the other week, he had a converted AMP, which seemed bit tippy but was able to roll first time and would like to give it ago. Any advice regarding boats and conversion would be appreciated.

Narrow it down a bit:

River running?
Freestyle?
Slalom?

Your height and weight would be useful aswell.
Not swimming, not trying hard enough

Yeah realised I forgot to post all that, it had been a long day at work when I got round to posting.
I'm looking mainly at a bit of river running to start with an see how that goes as a start.
I'm bout 6ft tall, weigh 68kg.

Owen, see this thread which was in response to a similar question - it discusses the Acrobat and I describe my Redline conversion
