On Thursday 25th March Justine Curgenven well be heading one of Brookbank London's Masterclasses.

Justine is an award winning adventure filmmaker, expedition sea kayaker and creator of the acclaimed “This is the Sea” series of sea kayaking DVDs. Justine has been on challenging expeditions around the globe, including circumnavigating the south island of New Zealand, Tasmania and the Queen Charlotte islands, a solo trip around Iceland’s West Fjords, a crossing of the Bass Strait and a wilderness journey in Kamchatka with a novice Russian kayaker.

She represented England in the world surf kayak championships and loves surfing her sea kayak in the tidal races near her home in Wales. Her adventure documentaries have been shown on the BBC and National Geographic Channel and won her over a dozen awards at film festivals. Justine has just released her first open boating DVD, “This is Canoeing” and in the process journeyed down Canada’s remote Mountain River, met some of the worlds’ top open canoeists and got her canoe pinned on a challenging rapid in Scotland.

Justine will show clips from her sea kayaking and canoeing films, talk about some of the highlights of her trips, and share some of the secrets of how she gets exciting shots in her films.

There will be free food and refreshments for all those attending from 6.30pm, with the Masterclass presentation due to start at 7.30.
