The Gorge is a good G4 (Possible 5) when it's 0.8 on the Druid gauge @ Alwen. Needs a minimum of 0.6 to run. 0.9 is 'sporty'.

Not too hard to inspect as you can walk pretty much all of it once you're down there switching from river left to right.

Continuous Rapids all the way. Mostly easy to protect.

Watch out for the SSSI police (old man) at the get on for the gorge - Canalfon Tryweryn is a SSSI by the way...
