Hi all,

Am heading up to Fort Bill on Sunday and hoping to paddle somwhere on the way up- unfortunately the weather is looking to favour the 2 ice climbers we're sharing the bunkhouse with rather than us, but was wondering if anyone knew about the River Doon releases- is it everyday, what times etc? The UKRG info says it releases througghout the year, but not when.

Any info, or advice on something else to paddle between sheffield and fort bill when levels are low, would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Chris

Hi the doon releases 24/7 they spoil us paddlers around here, better to run it twice ,there is a path at river level so no problem walking back to run again.
