Its big at the minute and Saxon Mill is a lovely fast (brown) wave at the moment - well worth a short splash and next to the pub makes it even better for a quick after work paddle!

Saxon mill produces a surprisingly fun wave(for Warwickshire) in flood levels, as it drops the weir produces a steep shelf with a somewhat nasty towback, go steady.

When in flood, a towline onto the wave may be a good idea as the weir-walls move the access eddy way too far back to get on easily.

Surf happily while diners watch in amazement from the comfort of the pub inside....
