Is there really a Wahburn release tomorrow . I cannot find any mention of it on http://www.yorcie.org.uk/component/opti ... /catid,16/

I would hate to drive quite a long way if it is not running

It appears to me that it says no release tomorrow, I do not think the new format is very clear the old format of a list of dates was much easier to read.

This is a nice easy response could the people who organise the events for when the releases are on post on this forum making it quite clear when the releases are planning for and when they will know there is a release going on. If you want to get more people turning up to make it more affordable and supported better then you should be taking more of a proactive stance to make sure people know that there is a release going on. Note looking for anything fancy just post detailing start and finish times, the date of the release and any special info for people e.g. if race or rafts are going to be on the river.
Anyway rant over to my knowledge when I phoned the information line on thursday evening it said there was going to be a release going on sunday(24/2/08) between 9am and 5pm, hope that helps. Also that the one after is going to be on easter weekend and that happens to be for a white water race (whacky racers I think).
BTW can we have an alternative number to the 0845 one please.

There should be a release, or at least our head coach (who happens to chair the Washburn Committee) says so.

According to Esther Mathews (the Contact for the release tomorrow) it is happening as per the calender linked above.

And there is a shuttle and rafts.
