Revelation of the day

Postby adam_d on Wed Apr 25, 2007 4:52 pm

I was able to fit a set of cranked werners through a letterbox!

I found that quite exciting! Does anyone have any other paddling related revelations?

Bet the neighbours are having a right giggle behind the curtains! The door definitely, unless you need a new pair of splits!

Using a kayak allows you to travel into the future:

Weed control matting does not make a particularly good substitute for glass-fibre matting. Initially it looks like its going to work quite well but then it goes a bit wrinkly, probably some kind of chemical reaction I suppose.

It is possible to teach a partner the joys of whitewater without splitting up.

Now that is an interesting revelation. I always seem to split up without getting beyond flatwater so is good to know it gets easier once over the first hurdle.

So true, but it's a fairly rare dish as they go.

I'm booked on a course tomorrow and have the day off work, but can't for the life of me remember where. So, if it's sunny again, I might just have to go goof around on the Garry instead. Ho hum...

They are rather amusing aren't they, my boss would probably not be happy with you either if it were not for the fact that he seems amused by them as well =D

Yes 42 is the Meaning of life the universe and everything; and I got extra credit in an (internal) exam for pointing this out, hence why I quoted it. :D

When the (at one point destroyed) earth finally calculates the question from which that answer is derived it is What is six times nine?

Those who have never read the book's or heard the radio series have missed out, as there will always be a Douglas Adams fan referencing him somewhere.

Interesting you can think in other bases but can't use apostrophes.

But the Earth's programme was corrupted by the (crash) landing of the Golgafrinchams. This resulted in the dying off of the indigenous species and everyone (including Arthur Dent) now being a descendant of a hairdresser, advertising executive or telephone sanitation operative.

So the question could be "Do we want to apply fire nasally?"

The reason the question generated by Arthur is "what do you get if you multiply six times nine" is as Big Henry points out because he was descended from the Googlefrincham (sp) survivors, the programme was muddled in his brainwaves since they were not part of the design. Also because he and Ford were running out of letters for the scrabble set.

lets have another bath shall we.
