This is experimental - is it useful? If folk don't seem to need it, I'll remove it in a few weeks and shift the threads to 'Inland'.

I have taken the liberty of transferring the excellent 'DW' thread here for starters.

I think it could be useful if a little different...

The thread's will come in stop's and start's for just competitions, maybe widen the category with event's, and festival's, e.g., AJ, North West Paddle Fest, Pembrokeshire Sea Kayaking....that could prove more useful, and de-clutter other part's of the forum.

Thats a fantastic idea, would mean that people who haven't been on the forum for a while could see what was happening / coming up without trawling through 'Inland'. I think some other forums have a similar set-up...?

Almost worth a forum of it's own! I think including festivals and other events would be a good idea too, it's sometimes difficult to find these paddling threads on the Inland forum now.
