Europe in 2-3 weeks

Im about in France with a car and a boat and may be interested in trying to get some kayaking done when I finish work in the ardeche in around 2 weeks.
What are levles like anywhere and are there many people/clubs anywhere like the Alps at that time.
Or if anyone knows of some good rivers in the Ardeche region which would be good.
I would be looking at grade 4ish runs.
This is mainly just to get an idea as I may end up doing something else. But wanted to see what if anything might be good around that time.
