Bristol Paddlers
Hey! Me and my boyfriend are looking for some new paddling mates. We are whitewater paddlers both happy on grade 3 (my confidence is slowly improving on grade 4!) We are looking for paddlers of a similar age and ability (I'm 22 he is 28) around the Bristol area, we have a car and happy to travel South West or Wales but would be nice to have a few local paddling mates for bbq/beers etc. Get in touch :-) Jemma

Hi Jemma & boyfriend
I am a Bristol based paddler, I have not done much grade 3 but some say I have a good style. Am right up for a surf (river and sea) and have most weekends free....Weather hasnt been great for BBQ's but up for a beer any time and chewing the fat about the next & Last time on the water. Big Bliss Stick Fan, paddle a rad 195! I am a little older than you guys but allways up for a laugh and good times.....send me a PM if fancy hookin up

Hey guys, I am a paddler in bristol, 27 happy paddling grade 3 pushing 4 as just getting back into paddling after years off the water. Keen to get some evenings on the water somewhere local and weekends where possible beers and bbq's a bonus.

Hey Jemma! I didn't realise you and Anton were looking for partners. I've been moaning about how the cheeky Friday club has become very quiet. There's a few of us heading out on Saturday & you guys would be welcome to join. Send me a Facebook message if you're free today - I took the day off! Cardiff is shut but we could go to Hurley or someplace.

Hi all
The Avon Outdoor Activity Club (www.aoac.co.uk) has a thriving bristol based paddling community - and we are also very social.
Other activities include mountain biking, road cycling, walking, camping, caving, sailing and a ski trip.
We're just setting our plan for the autumn/winter/spring session and we'll be having day and weekend trips to Rivers such as The Dart, Usk, Tavy, Upper Wye, Tryweryn, Teifi (Llandysul) and others.
We mainly paddle Grade 2 to 4 depending on coach/leader availability and we are very keen to progress the skills of new paddlers into the world of whitewater and sea kayaking.
Cheers
Lucia

Re: Bristol Paddlers
Sorry to latch on to an old post.
Looking for anyone who fancies paddling from Bristol.
Unfortunately I don't have any transport so If anyone was up for lift sharing would be great.
I'm 20 and would love to improve my playboating, but tbh really just want to get on a river.
Cheers
