Hi all.
I am based in Alston, on the Cumbria / Northumberland boarder, and have paddled a few rivers in the area. I now, however seem to have lost my paddling partners to their social and work lives and find it difficult to get anyone to paddle with. Being luck enough to be able to get to the Lakes as well as the East rivers and Scotland, I would like to find some regular paddlers to get out and about with, Canoe or Kayak, WW, surf, Lakes, Multi-day, you name it. I drive and so can get most places (when there is fuel for Whitney to drink) and know a fair bit of the North well enough.
If there is anyone with a similar plight or just fancies some new faces to paddle with, jot down a note or two and we can sort a few trips out!!
Dave

I`m always up for a paddle or play in the surf. I`m about an hour away from the lakes, fourty mins from the west coast (Blackpool)

Hi
I paddle most weekend when there is a little rain mostly in the South Lakes, Yorkshire but sometimes further north to the Tees on grade 3/4 rivers. I would be happy to cut you into e-mails (mrmarkpugh@aol.com) when getting folks together to paddle.
thanks
Mark

Sounds good guys. Hopefully there will be water in the new year (going home to Lincoln until then).

OK, so I have had a busy winter period with very little paddling. I am up for getting out in a bout from March onwards. I am needing to get out on the water. LMK

Re: Paddlers of the North
If you have Facebook then try adding North east kayakers and North West Kayakers.
Always plenty of people up to stuff on there.
