Paddlers in the Bristol area

Postby jemma » Tue Jan 04, 2011 5:17 pm

Hey!

My boyfriend and I are looking for paddlers in the Bristol area. We are looking for people of a similar age and ability; I am 21, my boyfriend is 27, we are mainly open boaters at grade 1-3 but occasionally kayak. We like to paddle at weekends in the southwest/ southwales area.

Get in touch if you fancy a paddle in the next few weeks!

You might find people to paddle with at the Bristol canoe club. I met people through this when I moved to Bristol a few years ago.

Hello!!

It seems Im not very good at using this site as I have only just seen all the replies!!

Sorry to Nige and others who offered paddling this weekend! I ended up going to the barle in opens, cant believe I have never paddled there before, such a good trip!

I am busy this weekend but me and my boyrfriend may be up for a trip the weekend after, or early Feb? I prefer to open boat at grade 2-3 but would be up for an easier kayak trip (tad rusty in a kayak!)

Or if any one fancies a climb, we go to undercover rock a fair bit and have recently completed a lead rack so will be trying to get out as much as we can.
