anyone boating south west

Check out www.paddlepirates.co.uk, paddlers from all over the southwest, rivers, surf, all sorts of types of paddling and paddlers. Great resource and everyone is really welcoming.

Yep,

Live near Plymouth (home once a month ish, but spend leave there too), usually head to the coast to surfboat, however very keen to do more river stuff, including river play.
