Fish Ladder - Linton on Ouse

My mate is in York and he posted this on our Uni forum. Thought I would let people on here now as well in case anyone goes down:

Hey people, just a quick heads up if anyone's planning on using the fish ladder in the near future. We went down there today and there was all sorts of crap in the ladder itself - the main problem being a wooden pallet wedged against the upright rock at the start of it. Me and Morgan managed to get it out with a line after a while, but it looks like there may be more crap lodged under there. The pallet itself was covered in nails and other nasty stuff, so just be careful is you intend to head down there..
