Obstruction on the Conwy!

Obstruction on the Conwy!

WARNING!!!

Ran the Conwy 8th September....

...And we found that there is a submerged yellow Pyrahana Creek boat stuck vertically in the last class 5 on the Conwy run.

It is wrapped around a rock cockpit down stream on the last but one drop on the last class 5 above the Conwy falls’ gorge.

4 of us spent over 1 hour trying to free it so we could run the drop with ropes both sides and a vector drag it still didn’t move!

The river was on a very low 3, if the water is any higher you won’t see it look out for a strange rooster where there wasn’t one before!

And if you get it out or find it look after my carabineer that’s still attached to the stern! ;)

Just went out and picked it up but it was a bitch to drag out of the gorge the boat is completely stuffed. If you don't want the bits in side Our club could really do with a new foot rest(that's if the foot rest from a burn fits in a h3).

No worries mate it gave some excitement when you came around the last drop to see this boat their.

Its not my boat nor anyones I know. We just wanted to run the drop and found it wedged in our way. If its broken it sounds like free game no one else as replied to this post and if it hasn't got a name in it I guess its finders keepers! Enjoy...

Well if you ever see me on the river I will grab that crab!lol
