Hi All,

am looking for some guaranteed water this weekend and was wondering if anyone knows whether the Tummel has started releasing again yet?

Cheers,

If there isn't a release on the Tummel- consider trying the Upper Tummel- Drive up past bridge of tummel (about 5km) and get in below the large dam- there is generally some compensation flow which will be enough for this section. About 3-4km of grade 2-3+ . There is one LARGE drop after about 2km which can be seen from the road!! Inspect/ portage river right. After about another 1km you come to a fun slide down the river left.
Either get out below this or continue on flat water to Bridge of Tummel.
