The East Oakment from Cullever Steps

We had a nice walk of the above 2day and were amased by the amount of fallen trees in the river from the streatch just below the top granite slabs all the way down too the A30 road bridge. I have paddled this river a few times and never seen so many trees in/ accross it. If we do get lots of rain in the near furture and are paddling this river I would advise extream caution with the trees, some are on blind bend and on rapids with no eddies!!!
