Has anyone manged to identify and source the material used for the small moisture absorbtion pads for the GoPro? If so I would appreciate the knowledge being shared.

Cheers in anticipation.

Kitchen Roll. Tear off a rectangle, fold it into a square and stick it on the bottom of the housing, with a bit going round just under the lense. Works a treat. Toilet roll on the other hand doesn't work.

Thanks Techno, appreciated.

I am sure this material costs pennies and if sourced as A4 sheets would allow using new inserts every time rather than having to mess around putting them in the oven.

Has anyone any experience of using them multiple times without putting in the oven?

Now that is a neat solution, thanks!

Yes I can confirm that to avoid misting, putting the GoPro opened up in a fridge, for about half an hour, and then a postage-stamp sized bit of kitchen roll works a treat. And now just for some Rain-X to kill the drops....

Buy a Sony AS15 instead. I have both a Gopro 2 and the Sony. The Gopro is a constant pain misting up and running out of battery. The Sony doesn't mist up, the battery lasts for ages, and its got a Zeiss lens.
